What is your set list?
You can find out about our set lists here. We can create a custom set list to suit your event or if you have tastes. With notice, we are happy to add songs on request as long as the fit our format.
When did Heartbeat start?
Richard, now retired, and Trevor were our founder members back around 2006, mates who thought it would be a good idea and it has grown from there. Roger joined at Richard’s invitation and has become our musical director. There is a long anecdote about how Chris was invited to join after a casual chat in a canteen. For many years Heartbeat were the resident band at The famous Tipperary in until it closed in 2024. Mick retired in 2022 and was replaced by Ian. John joined us in 2024.
What size venues can you play?
We have our own PA and Trevor has a quiet drum kit which allows us to play at sensible volumes in small venues. We can play large venues of a couple of hundred people and anything in between. We have played for many years crammed in the corner of the Tipperary so we don’t need much room, though we prefer to spread out.
What events do you do?
We quite often just play in pubs to provide some fun and dancing, and at the other end of the scale, we can be the dance band for your Black Tie event. We can play listening music or dancing music. We are very proud of our fundraising events. We helped raise £4000 in a night for The Holly Trust in 2024.
